‘The Bachelor’ Finale: Ben Devastates Finalist By Dumping Her After Saying ‘I Love You’

Breakups aren’t easy, especially on The Bachelor. During the season 20 finale, airing on March 14, Ben Higgins, 27, reportedly has a heartbreaking talk with the runner-up and stresses that he does love her, but he ends up choosing another girl. The poor finalist cried “a lot” of tears after Ben dumped her!

“Ben tells her that he truly does love her. He says those weren’t just words. That was the most important thing he had to do: Tell her that as much a mistake as it had been to say ‘I love you,’ he did mean it,” an insider told Us Weekly.
Well, the finalist’s reaction was probably one Ben wasn’t expecting. “She was devastated. There were lots of tears,” the insider continued. “At the end, Ben did what he came there to do. But he had to go through hell.”
Ben’s final choice was really tough on the hunk. Fans got a glimpse at the intense Bachelor finale, and Ben cries over having to choose between two women that he loves!

“I love both of them,” Ben says in the promo. “They’re too good to walk away from, and I just don’t know.” He also says, “I have to say goodbye to a woman that doesn’t deserve it. It doesn’t feel right. This is the biggest mistake I’ve made and I want to keep her in my life. I don’t want to say goodbye, cause that’s how much I love her.”

The Bachelor finale airs March 14 on ABC. As of the Feb. 8 episode, Amanda, Caila, Emily, Becca, JoJo and Lauren B. made the final six, so one of them is going to be girl left heartbroken in the finale. Oh no!
